My picks -

1. Does the sight of an incredibly handsome man turn you off, because too many of them have room-temperature IQ's, and obnoxious or non-existent personalities?

Inflated sigh. That's half the reason why I have been banished to singlehood in heaven. I think i should seriously amend that stereotype in my head. The JaneAustenesque pall of doom has ceased to depress me though. Most single women at 40 are happy :)
 
2. Are you fed up with women who feel they HAVE to be in a "Relationship" in order to be whole, and will sacrifice their self-esteem and personal growth in order to avoid being on their own?

Alright. Talking too much abt relationships and men erodes bitchiness. So, enough.

But the one I identify most with -

Have you HAD IT with people telling you that you are TOO LOUD, TOO ASSERTIVE, or TOO OPINIONATED?

loud as in "characterized by high volume and intensity"? Yes, very much.
loud as in "offensive"? Oh yeah, all the time.

This might give you an idea... I asked a few friends to give me 3 adjectives to describe my communication style for an essay I have to write. Here are some of the responses:


Loud and over-the-top
Loud, Fog Horn Loud, I-Beat-The-Shit-Out-Of-Jet-Engines Loud.
I-Broke-The-Decibel-Meter Loud
Don't-need-no-stinkin'-communication-satellites Loud

i guess most ppl are just not used to taking strong words from women (does that make me less of a woman :-/ ). But there are these fucked up men who find them "interesting" but "hazardous to life & property".

Nothing wrong with assertive and opiniated women, but i guess it catches the average male off-guard and hurts his male ego, that is used to being heard out and given importance
Won't say i am the above-average male or any such thing, but it takes some time getting used to....especially considering the "traditional" conditioning we all have got to hear for decades.
Assertive + Opinionated = Direspectful
And its not limited to girls only......but more so for them
Its one of these unending coffee-toffee debates :)

Ahem. A bunch of us recently tried to input 'loud', 'assertive' and 'opinionated' into a logic gate. It blew up :( so, im guessing, without the assurance of binary logic tables, that its bad.
