To be or not to be?

...is the question the egg is asking this season. In a serious blow to the much-touted Brit wit, the British Egg Information Serives (ahh, thank God for small mercies) is now attempting to eliminate guesswork from a big issue - people cant even boil an egg.

In an abashed display of self-effacing catharsis, Britons admit that millions of them cannot boil an egg. And certainly not one in which the egg white coagulates, but the yolk remains runny. For no good reason, the task of world IQ caliberation just got tougher.

ok..so im being sarcastic here...but when was the last time you ate food in UK????
for a country which is proud (and no, im not Brit bashing here) about its culnary cusine by advertising "bangers and mash", and whose idea of good food is a "pub meal".....it comes as no surprise that most cant boil an egg !! then again...most Jains (and other vegetarians) in India cant do that either...
though hopefully, that has nothing to do with their culinary skills or their IQs
:P

peel a boiled egg..? You're obviously in need of some patience. Or may be i completely missed the point. I'd just allow it to cool. What we do need is a standard deviation of the normal distribution of the cooling time(= random variable) of a boiled egg (pliss to forgive my statistical ramblings).
